The event鈥痮ffers鈥痑n early opportunity for families to explore the Academy鈥痜or鈥痽ear鈥�7 entry, starting September 2027.鈥疺isitors will鈥痓e able to tour鈥痶he Academy鈥檚 facilities and subject departments,鈥痵peak directly with staff and students鈥痑bout鈥痑cademy life, and鈥痬eet the鈥疨rincipal.鈥�听

Families are advised to arrive early, allowing ample time to get the most of their visit and help make the right, informed decision for their child鈥檚 education.鈥赌�听
Applications for parents applying for secondary school places through Sandwell听open in July 2026听and Dudley听in September听2026.听From this鈥痙ate, parents of children moving into Year 7 will be able to鈥痑pply鈥痜or their place via their local authority.鈥赌�听

The Academy also offers a dedicated Arts Aptitude Programme for students with a passion for art, dance,鈥痙rama鈥痮r music. Limited to 28 students each year, the programme provides a platform for young talent to develop and flourish. Interested families must still apply to the Academy through their鈥痩ocal鈥痑uthority and list Shireland鈥疌ollegiate鈥疉cademy as their first choice.听Arts Aptitude applications must be听submitted听by听Monday 28 September 2026听before the local authority deadline.听
